I was able to get in touch with tons of professionals that were former K12 educators, turned Instructional Designers, and pick their brain about the career, their transition, and ask for practical task to complete so that I could experience the same success. Believe it or not, people love talking about themselves and many were eager to share their experiences. Not to worry. Simply devote some time, patience, and resources into making a really fleshed out Linkedin profile.
